摘要

The finite element method was used to derive the electromechanical coupled dynamics model of the stator of a rod-shape ultrasonic motor due to the complexity of its geometric shape. The dynamic behavior of the stator was analyzed via this model and the numerical result of the first bending mode frequency is 3.9% of error compared with the experimental result of the prototype stator. Both the structural design principles and the approaches to meet the modal requirements for the stator were proposed and a mathematical optimal model was established based on the pattern search algorithm to solve this multi-objective optimization problem. The numerical simulation results show that this efficient optimal model can quantify the structural parameters of the stator and also meet the stator';s design requirements for the modal frequency, the mode shape, the location of the piezoelectric ceramics and the interference mode at the same time.
