摘要

In this paper, a two-dimensional h-version finite-element code has been developed to simulate the ultrasound generation by a pulsed laser line-source in an anisotropic plate. The central-difference time-integration scheme and a four-nodal quadrilateral element mesh were used. The A-scan waveforms have been obtained and compared with the corresponding laser ultrasonic experimental results on a copper crystal (Cu < 100 >, phi 35X15mm(3)). It is found that the finite element method is able to simulate the ultrasound generation in an anisotropic elastic plate.
