摘要

Colobotheini is a tribe of Lamiinae (Cerambycidae) which includes 189 species classified into 12 genera (Monne, 2016). This tribe is characterized by a trapezoidal frons, contiguous antennal tubercles, prothorax without lateral spines, elytra elongate with lateral carina, metatarsomere I elongate and tarsal claws divaricate (Galileo & Martins, 2006). Colobothea Lepeletier & Audinet-Serville, 1825 is the largest genus of Colobotheini, with 119 valid species distributed from Mexico to Southern South America, except Chile and latitudes below 35 degrees S. To date, there are no revisions or phylogenetic studies comprising Colobothea species as a whole. Monne & Monne (2010) prepared a synopsis and provided a key for the Bolivian species. In the last decade, nine new species of Colobothea were described, most of them from Amazonian zones, e.g. C. caramaschii Monne, 2005 from Venezuela; C. denotata Monne, 2005 from Brazil; and C. berkovi Monne & Monne, 2010, C. boliviana Galileo, Martins, Le Tirant & Santos-Silva, 2014, C. larriveei Galileo et al., 2014 and C. wappesi Monne & Monne, 2010 from Bolivia. Monne (2016) listed 21 species of Colobothea for Ecuador: C. assimilis Aurivillius, 1902; C. bicuspidata (Latreille, 1811); C. bisignata Bates, 1865, C. brullei Gahan, 1889, C. destituta Bates, 1865; C. forcipata Bates, 1865; C. grallatrix Bates, 1865; C. humerosa Bates, 1865; C. lunulata Lucas, 1857; C. macularis (Olivier, 1792), C. meleagrina Erichson, 1847, C. naevia Bates, 1865, C. naevigera Bates, 1865, C. osculatii Guerin-Meneville, 1855, C. pictilis Bates, 1865, C. plagiata Aurivillius, 1902, C. securifera Bates, 1865, C. sejuncta Bates, 1865; C. sordida Aurivillius, 1902; C. styligera Bates, 1865; and C. varia (Fabricius, 1787). Herein, a new species Colobothea, C. fikaceki sp. nov. from Ecuador, is described. This new species was found during a visit to the collection of the National Museum in Prague on October 2015.
