摘要

We consider the specific features of fracture of polymeric materials used in the dental practice for the production of provisional structures. By analyzing the value of the criterial parameter, it is shown that, under the action of quasistatic loads, different types of fracture processes (ductile, ductile-brittle, and brittle) may run in polymers and alternate in the course of subcritical crack growth. The ranking of polymers is realized with regard for their crack resistance in the initial stages of fracture.
