Application of electronic nose technology in the detection of wheat quality

摘要

In this paper, an electronic nose system was designed to detect wheat qualitative change quickly, this system mainly includes three parts: sampling system, data collection, signal processing and analysis. By detecting gas species released by the wheat in storage, the system can determine whether the has wheat qualitative changed, and the level of wheat qualitative change can be discriminated by the gas concentration. After using PCA and improved BP algorithm to experimental data processing, the experimental results shows that the system can rapidly and accurately detect wheat qualitative change and the degree of that. Finally, The author made a prospect on the application of electronic nose technology in wheat detection.
