摘要

Dempster-Shafer evidence theory is widely used in reasoning under uncertainty and plays an important role in military applications. One of the open issues in measuring conflict is how to determine the degree of conflict between bodies of evidence. A new method to measure conflict is proposed based on the evidence distance model. At the same time, we give numerical examples to show that betting commitments is not efficient to measure evidence conflict degree while the proposed method is effective. Numerical examples show that the modified evidence distance method is a better alternative to measure conflict degree.
