摘要

The blended proton conducting polymer electrolytes comprising of poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) and poly(vinylidenefluoride) (PVdF) have been prepared for different ammonium thiocyanate (NH4SCN) ratio by solution casting technique. The ac conductivity and dielectric spectroscopy studies have been carried out on the blended polymer matrix to reveal the HI conductivity. The high frequency semicircle in the impedance plot reveals the bulk effect of the polymer electrolytes. The proton conductivity has been found to vary from similar to 1.7x10(-7) Scm(-1) to 4.6x10(-4) Scm(-1) with the increase in salt concentration in the blended polymer matrix at ambient temperature. The ionic transference number of mobile ions has been estimated by Wagner's polarization method and it has been found to be t(ion)similar to 0.97 for all the samples. The dielectric spectral studies show the low frequency dispersion, which implies the space charge effects arising from the electrodes.
