摘要
In this article, a microstrip bandpass filter with a very wide stopband is provided. Based on our previous published ultra-wide stopband bandpass filter, this proposed filter can extend the stopband range by adopting the patterned ground plane. The full-wave electromagnetic simulator IE3D is used. and the prototype of the bandpass filter is fabricated and measured. Comparisons of simulated results and experimental data are shown; moreover, good match validates the proposed filter.
