A new sharpened and generalized version of Holder's inequality and its applications

In this paper we show a new sharpened and generalized version of Holder's inequality. As applications, the result is used to deal with an Open Problem proposed by K. L. Chung, an improvement of K.L. Chung's result is obtained.
