摘要

Alcaligenes sp. HN was a heterotrophic bacterium with the capability of ammonium removal from wastewater under aerobic conditions. The optimum conditions for NH4+-N removal were determined using response surface methodology. A Box-Behnken design was used to investigate the effects of four independent variables, namely, temperature, pH, shaking speed and C/N ratio on the response of NH4+-N removal efficiency. The significance of the independent variables and their reciprocal interactions were assessed by the analysis of variance. A quadratic model predicted that the maximum removal of ammonium obtained under the conditions with shaking speed of 121.6 rpm, temperature of 29.6 degrees C, pH of 7.2 and C/N ratio of 9.7.
