摘要

This paper presents a high step-up DC/DC converter based on high degrees of freedom voltage multiplier cell (HD-VMC) which has the features as: high voltage conversion ratio, lower and adjustable voltage and current stress, scalable and automatic input-current sharing in each phase. All above the characteristics make the proposed converter very suitable for high power and high step-up voltage conversion applications, such as offshore wind power high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system. In this paper, the topology deduction of the proposed converter has been discussed. Operation principle and performance characteristics of the converter are analyzed with 4 input phases and 12 HD-VMCs, Then, a 2.5MW simulation model and 800W experimental prototype verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
