摘要
By introducing a transformation and selecting appropriate trial functions, a simple method is presented to construct the sech(2)-type and csch(2)-type solitary wave solutions of nonlinear wave equations. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our method by applications to three equations with physical interest as particular examples. The technique used herein can be also applied to seek the sech(2)-type and csch(2)-type solitary wave solutions to other nonlinear wave equations.
