摘要
The effects of donors (D), such as Nb5+ and Ta5+, on the ferroelectric and the piezoelectric properties in (Bi0.5Na0.5)(Ti1-xDx)O-3 ceramics were studied. A solid solution of define BNT-doped Nb (x <= 1.0 mol%) and Ta (x <= 1.0 mol%) were analyzed by using X-ray diffraction. The observed grain size decreased with increasing doping content. As for the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties, the coercive fields (E-C) and the mechanical quality factors (Q(m)) decreased with increasing doping while piezoelectric constant (d(33)) increased, which are similar to the results observed in donor-doped Pb(Zr,Ti)O-3 ceramics.
