摘要

Based on equilibrium conditions, geometrical relations and constitutive equations, the analytical model is deduced in this paper to predict the axisymmetric behavior of the flexible riser. This model takes the mutual exclusion relationship between the contact pressure and interlayer gap into consideration, hence, the influence of the force direction on the structure behavior can be analyzed. Meanwhile, the detailed finite element model of the flexible riser is established in software ABAQUS. Based on the analytical model and the numerical model, the structural response of a typical flexible riser under axisymmetric load is studied. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data obtained from literature and a good agreement is found. Studies show that the proposed analytical and numerical models can provide an approach to analyzing and designing flexible risers.
