摘要
A 1.25Gb/s optical burst-mode receiver with a feed-forward Reset-signal generation circuit (RSGC) is described in this paper. It employs a varactor in the top-hold circuit to reduce preamble time and peak detect error; a delay circuit is used to shorten guard time; and two NOR gates is used to eliminate noise in the guard time as well. Using these techniques, both preamble time and guard time can be minimized to 20ns and 140ns respectively.
