摘要
The anatomical investigation of seven specimens of Thoanteus gibbe, collected at the southern coast of the Crimea and on the slope of the Baydarskaya valley (near the typical location of this species) revealed some features in the exterior and interior structure of the penis as compared with the characteristics earlier described in the molluscs from the Chatyr-Dag mountains. The most essential difference is the presence of two-bladed papilla within the penis. The possible taxonomic importance of the revealed peculiarities is discussed.
