Mathematical model and method of dynamic balance for two kinds of screw rotors

摘要

Aiming at the screw rotor with single-threaded and fixed pitch widely used in dry screw vacuum pump, some research about dynamic balance design calculation method is carried out in this paper. Two kinds of commonly-used specific structures that the screw rotor lengths equal to n and n.5 multiple of the screw lead (n is an integer) are selected as the study objects. The dynamic balance of the rotors is realized by mean of removing two screw solids on the both ends of the rotor. The parameters about the shape and location of the removed screw solids are worked out based on the fundamental of dynamic balance that both the mass center coordinates and mass radius product of the rotor equal to zero. The calculation formulas about the section area, mass center coordinates and length of the removed screw solids for the two kinds of specific structures are obtained at last. The method and results in this article are universally fit for the various types of screw rotors with single-threaded and fixed pitch, because the calculation doesn';t involve the form of end face profile.
