Several procedures have been proposed for the prolapse of a loop colostomy. However, most are associated with a high recurrence rate or are rather expensive. We have newly developed a simple, safe, and inexpensive method, which is a modification of Thiersch%26apos;s method, for repair of distal limb prolapse of a loop colostomy.
