摘要
A new cobalt complex, [Co(2)(C(10)H(2)O(8))(C(10)H(8)N(2))(4)(H(2)O)(2)]center dot 12H(2)O, has been hydrothermally synthesized at 413 K over a period of 8 h. Its structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Each metal ion center is in a distorted octahedral geometry and coordinated by four N atoms from the two 2,2'-bipyridine ligands, an O atom from H(2)O and an O atom from the bridging benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylate ligand. There is a center of inversion at the center of the benzene ring.
