the manufacture and application of a new style cast copper cooling stave for blast furnace is introduced in this paper. Its cooling channel is made of the buried flat copper pipe, and its dovetail groove is cast in one step. With good quality and lower price, this kind of cast copper cooling stave is safe, reliable and has a bright future on its application. For the outer surface of buried copper stave is melt with the liquid copper in the casting processing, this cooling stave is featured by high thermal conductivity; high pressure resistant, no leakage, small water resistance and reliability. Cross section shape. of this copper stave could be adjusted with furnace shape, and it could be circular arc or incomplete arc. The new style copper stave could be used at different regions, such as bosh, belly and the lower part of stack. Its unique advantages could be completely present when it's used at the special shape region.
