A computer-aided educational tool for short circuit current calculations

In the present study, for better visual teaching of short circuit calculations used in the field of electrical engineering, a computer software program was developed. With this computer program, two-phase and three-phase short circuit calculations can be performed easily and calculations become easier. The program developed for supporting the existing applications in the electric equipment laboratory of the department of electrical engineering is Windows-based and it is open to improvement and these are its most superior sides. The students taking the course of electrical equipment laboratory course can use the program freely. For the design of the program, visual C software was used and then the program was converted into exe.
