The possibility to apply wound cores in the power system of three electrode gliding arc discharge plasma reactors is discussed. Voltage induced in the windings put on the external columns of the wound core serves as a ignition of the discharge. Voltages induced in the secondary windings put on the internal columns maintain discharge between reactors' working electrodes. (A wound cores transformer within power supplies of plasma reactors).
