摘要

Altitude training is the way in which athletes are regularly sent to a place with a suitable altitude to conduct specific trainings there. This paper is to analyze the misunderstandings of altitude training on the basis of sports training science in order to help people obtain a rational concept on altitude training theory and practice; meanwhile the paper puts forward some suggestions on further research of altitude training. Individual diversity is a key factor and should be attached importance in altitude training because different athletes show different abilities in adapting to anoxic conditions in plateau areas. And this diversity directly leads to different training effects. So individualized training projects due to various athletes' performances are in need of being tailor-made and then with scientific practices in altitude training, an ideal training effect could happen.
