摘要

A new metal-organic architectures, [Cu-3(NA)(6)(DMF)(3)](n) (1), where NA stands for nicotinic acid, has been successfully synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that the Cu-II centers adopt a distorted square pyramidal geometry, and nicotinic acid acts as a bidentate ligand connected with the adjacent two Cu atoms by the pyridyl and carboxylate groups to form a 3D framework structure. The framework exhibits open chiral channels with coordinated DMF molecules inside it. In addition, the magnetic properties have also been studied.
