New Inhibitors of Corrosion and Depositions of Sediments for Water Circulation Systems

摘要

New efficient inhibitors of steel corrosion and scale formation have been developed for water circulation cooling systems. They include sodium dimethylenesulfophosphonate and sodium methylene-disulphonate. The processes of scale formation and steel corrosion in water in the presence of these inhibitors were studied. It was shown that the synthesized inhibitors in terms of the efficiency were not inferior to the most effective of well-known reagents: nitryltrimethylphosphonic acid and oxyethylidendiphosphonic acid. Compositions for preventing the scale formation in waters with high hardness (carbonate index >70 (mg-eq/dm(3))(2)) at <100 degrees C were also developed.
