摘要

This work proposes hybrid multiuser detector based on Polynomial Expansion (PE-MuD) as a way to reduce computational complexity inherent to correlation matrix inversion, followed by the low complexity Local Search (LS) procedure, aiming to obtain a near-optimum multiuser Bit-Error-Rate (BER) performance, however with reduced computational complexity. The proposed hybrid PE-LS-MuD receiver topology is analyzed under realistic wireless mobile channels, as well as useful system operation scenarios. Simulation results indicate a suitable improvement in the performance-complexity trade-off regarding the classical linear multiuser detectors, particularly the MMSE.
