摘要
A semiclassical model is devised to shed light on the role of asymptotic transitions around conical intersections in the dynamics of ion-diatom collisions. We consider the fundamental H(+)+H(2) case, with vibrationally excited target, in the impact velocity range 10(-4)<= v <= 5.10(-2) a.u. The reliability of the sudden approximation for vibration and trajectory-surface-hopping method is analyzed with respect to the model results. The consistency in the application of the adiabatic theorem at extremely low v is also considered.
