摘要
Heavy metals such as Zn have a poisoning effect on the catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of NOx with NH3. In this study, it was found that the modification of Mn/TiO2 catalyst with Al-2(SO4)(3) could effectively enhance its Zn resistance. From the results of characterizations including XRD, H-2-TPR, NH3-TPD and XPS, it could be concluded that the lower crystallinity, the higher reducibility, the generation of more acid sites, and the presence of more Mn4+ and chemisorbed oxygen should mainly contribute to the good Zn resistance of Al-2(SO4)(3)-modified Mn/TiO2 catalyst. The results of in situ DRIFT study indicated that the addition of Al-2(SO4)(3) did not change the mechanism of NH3-SCR reaction over Mn/TiO2 catalyst, which was under the control of both Eley-Rideal and Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanisms.
