摘要

The application of Cerium in crease resistant finishing was studied. The results show that both crease resistant properties and tensile strength retention of cotton fabric were increased by the addition of cerium in the traditional anti-crease finishing process (containing 10 g/L MgCl2as the catalyst). It is possible to use rare earth instead of MgCl2as the catalyst for the anti-crease finishing process. The maximum wrinkle-recovery angle and tensile strength retention of cotton fabric were obtained with the concentration of Ce3+20 g/L.
