摘要

Under the conditions of adopting the fuel control strategy based on pure gasoline with control parameters unchanged, the effects of fueling ethanol-gasoline blends (E10 and E20) on the charging efficiency, power performance, fuel economy and exhaust noise of a vehicle engine are studied by tests. The results show that for the charging efficiency of engine fueled with E20 increases by 2%~6%, but with E10, there is little change at low speeds and increases by 2.1% at most at high speeds. The rated power of engine fueled with E10 rises by 2.0%, but falls by 4.5% with E20. The equivalent specific fuel consumption of engine fueled with E10 or E20 declines by 2%~7%. The exhaust noise of engine fueled with E10 or E20 lowers significantly in a speed range of 1200~2000 r/min, by 11.2% at most, and it slightly rises with E10 and basically unchanged with E20 when speed higher than 2500 r/min.
