Demand analysis is an essential step in clinical psychology. The patient must be interested in the meeting concerning demand analysis. In general hospitals, it is different: requests of interventions come mainly from the medical team. The patient consults the hospital in order to treat a physical illness alone. Thus, the patient generally does not apply for psychological care. However, the announcement of a cancer diagnosis has a strong impact on the patient's psychic equilibrium. Systematic psychological consultations allow the patient to file an application for psychological intervention. Through this approach, do we create the application or do we allow it to emerge?.
