A new 3D framework constructed from oxo-bridged Keggin chains and metallamacrocyclic polymer chains

A new three-dimensional (3D) framework, [Cu-4(btp)(4)Cu(H2O)(2)(PW11CuO39)]center dot 2H(2)O (1) (btp = 1,3-bis( 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propane), was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. The 3D framework of compound 1 is constructed by two kinds of chains: inorganic Keggin chain sharing terminal O atoms and tetra-nuclear metallamacrocyclic chain.
