A method for isobaric identification with gas-filled TOF detector system

摘要

In order to increase the resolving capability of isobar identification in low energy accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) measurements, we have developed a new gas-filled time-of-flight (GF-TOF) detector system. The principle and the design of this system and the results from off-line and on-line tests (with alpha particles of Am-241 and AgCl sample), respectively, are described.
