Photoirradiation-driven luminescence modulation of a photoactive cadmium coordination complex

With the generation of photoinduced radicals, an additional low-energy emission is observed in a photoactive cadmium coordination complex. That cooperates with the high-energy monomer emission of the macrocycle ligand, tunable blue-to-yellowish green photoluminescence emissions are achieved upon variation of photoirradiation time and excitation wavelengths.
