摘要
Rafflesia manillana Teschem. (Rafflesiaceae) is the most widely distributed Philippine Rafflesia with populations recorded in at least eight localities in the islands of Luzon and Samar. The presence of some environmental and morphological variations among different populations of R. manillana have resulted to some taxonomic confusions and controversies. The recent discovery of a R. manillana haven in Mt. Guinatungan, a lesser-known mountain in Camarines Norte, Philippines, not only provided additional locality of distribution, but also resulted to better understanding of the taxonomic complexity of the species.
