摘要

This work examined the adsorption characteristics of Pb(II) onto fly ash by batch adsorption experiments. After elementary characterization of fly ash, different parameters influenced the Pb(H) adsorption process such as contact time, different dosage level of adsorbent, initial pH and temperature have been studied Results showed that adsorption equilibrium attained within 80 minutes. Increased in adsorbent dosage led to increased in Pb(II) adsorption due to increased number of adsorption sites, however the rise rate of the removal ratio slack-off after the adsorbent dosage exceeded 100 g/l. The optimum pH was found to be around 5.8. The optimum temperature for removal ratio of this adsorption process was 40 degrees C.
