摘要

Nanocrystalline Cu, CuO and Cu2O thin films were synthesized by electroless deposition (ELD) by controlling pH. Structural and compositional analysis showed that the pH-dependent synthesis method produce Cu at pH = 9, CuO at pH = 12, and Cu2O at pH = 14, respectively. The AFM and SEM images also revealed that nanoparticles of Cu and CuO agglomerated to form spherical-shaped clusters but Cu2O exhibited a cubic crystalline structure. Based on XRD, XPS and EDS analysis a pH-dependent redox mechanism was proposed for the films.
