摘要

For the past few years, many researchers have worked on ultra-wide band (UWB) radar technology for the target detection. Recognition of human behavior patterns is becoming more important. There are abundant cases where the information of behavior of targeted people is essential for the enhancement of operation results. Monitoring special patients in the hospitals and making an observation of targeted people without consent in certain cases are common examples. In this paper, the monitoring of human behavior is described as the detection of movement and posture changes. The movement of people is detected and then described as a positional trajectory. The shape changes of a human body are analyzed to consider the possibility of categorizing three different kinds of human postures such as standing, sitting and lying targets. The Matlab Neural Network toolbox has been used to obtain the classification results.
