摘要

For the first time an in situ plated bismuth film electrode is applied to adsorptive stripping voltammetry at mild alkaline conditions, to pH of 10. As an example of the application of such an electrode a procedure for trace Ni(II) determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry is elaborated. For stabilization of Bi(III), tartrate as a strong complexing agent for Bi(III) was added to an ammonia buffer used as a supporting electrolyte. The appropriate concentration of Bi(III) was added to the electrolyte in the form of its complex with tartrate. The calibration graph for Ni(II) for an accumulation time of 120 s is linear from 5 x 10(-9) to 5 x 10(-8) mol L(-1). The proposed procedure was applied for Ni(II) determination in certified water reference material.
