摘要
The tetrasulfane tBu(3)Si-S-4-SitBu(3) was formed in high yield when S2Cl2 was treated with two equivalents of Na(thf)(2)SSitBu(3) in thf. X-ray quality crystals of the tetrasulfane tBu(3)Si-S-4-SitBu(3) (monoclinic space group P2(1)/c) were grown from a benzene solution at ambient temperature. UV-induced degradation of [Fe(CO)(5)] in the presence of the tetrasulfane tBu(3)Si-S-4-SitBu(3) led to the formation of the carbonyliron complex [Fe-4(mu(4)-S)(2)(CO)(11)].
