Digital Neural Loops-A Rare Anatomic Variation

While dissecting a cadaveric hand, one rare anatomic variation was identified where almost all the palmer digital nerves were seen forming nerve loops, which were penetrated by digital arteries. The dorsal branch of ulnar nerve was also forming a nerve loop with the first palmar digital nerve and all these nerves were seen branching much more proximally than normal.
