摘要

An ultra-wideband (UWB) 3.10-to-10.6 GHz low-noise low noise amplifier (LNA) is presented in this paper. With the common-gate structure as the input stage, the broadband input matching network is also very simple and has good reflected coefficient. An output-matching module is designed in order to achieve flat gain over the whole bandwidth and generate more output current. The LNA is simulated based on CHAT 0.18 mu m mixed signal/RF process. It provides a transducer gain of 11.3 similar to 15.3dB, an input reflection coefficient lower than -9.5dB over the whole frequency range, a minimum noise figure equal to 2.75dB an input-referred third order intercept point of 19 dBm, the power consumption of the LNA without output buffer is 17mW using 1.5 V power supply.
