摘要

A new nickel-based superalloy was oxidized in air at 800 degrees C for period up to 100 h has been studied. Its oxidation behaviors were investigated by means of TGA, XRD and SEM(EDAX). The results show the kinetic curve of alloy oxidized obeyed the parabolic rate law. The oxidation scales consisted of Cr2O3, Al2O3, (Ni,Co)Cr2O4, AlWO3, AlTaO4, CrTaO4 and CoWO4 and intermal oxides. The phase rich in Ta and Al inhibited O and other elements of superalloy diffusion in the oxidation film. The oxidation kinetics was mainly controlled by Cr2O3 in the initial oxidation period, which is controlled predominantly by growth of the inner Al-rich oxide layer after the initial oxidation stage.
