摘要

We have developed a scalable synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes via a simple chemical approach. The CNTs were characterised by x-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Imaging (SEM, TEM) analysis revealed the morphology and diameter which is in the range of 10 to 18 nm. The peak at 2 theta = 26.5 degrees in the XRD substantiated the emergence of good phase purity of carbon nanotubes. The value of ID/IG ratio in Raman spectroscopy demonstrated the quality of carbon nanotubes. The enhanced peak current in the CNTs-modified electrode (12.16 mu A) along with a negative shift in potential of 0.15 Vat 50 mV scan rate affirmed the electro-catalytic response of CNTs. From the electrochemical sensing the better detection limit is 0.044 mu M in the range from 0.08 mu M-0.66 mu M. Our synthetic methodology is a facile one encompassing optimum reaction conditions, cheap and hurtles catalyst configuration which reflected this procedure both fascinating and profitable.
