摘要
To solve the problem of improving antenna gain without changing antenna structure, the method of loading AMC (Artificial Magnetic Conductor) is used. An antenna loading ring slot AMC is presented, then the AMC phase is optimized to achieve good performance of the antenna. The loaded antenna is consists of AMC and a 60GHz microstrip patch antenna. The bandwidth of antenna loading AMC is 10GHz (55GHz-65GHz) and the gain is 5.6dBi; Experimental results show that the bandwidth of loaded antenna has no change and the gain increases 2.9dBi, compared to the microstrip patch antenna.
