摘要
Direct photon spectra measured at small p(T) in p+p, d+Au and Au+Au collisions at root s(NN) = 200 GeV are presented. Several measurement techniques including statistical subtraction, tagging, and internal and external conversion were applied and found to produce consistent results. The p+p and d+Au results are found to be in very good agreement with pQCD predictions over the entire p(T) range. The direct photon yield in Au+Au collisions is compared to binary scaled d+Au data but the large systematic errors in d+Au results do not allow us to draw conclusions on the presence of a direct photon excess due to matter-related emission in Au+Au collisions.
