摘要
Pseudo-one-dimensional Chevrel compound TlFe3Te3 undergoes a first-order phase transition from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic at T-C = 220 K. Here we report a systematic study of magnetization, heat capacity and resistivity on polycrystalline TlFe3Te3 near T-C. The enhancements of T-C in an external magnetic field and a hydrostatic pressure follow the Clausius-Clapeyron relations. The large enhancement of the T-C under the pressure indicates that the unit cell shrinks from para-to ferro-magnetic phase.
