Numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the flow and heat transfer performance of elliptical pin-fin arrays in turbine blade cooling channel. Then, the impacts of array spacing, angle of attack, ratio of long axis and short axis on flow and heat transfer in pin-fins channel were obtained. The result indicates that, when the angle of attack is 0°, the pressure loss coefficient and average Nusselt number of elliptical pin-fins channel is about 51.7 and 83.75, respectively, of the same fin section-area and arrays circular pin-fins channel; when the ratio of long axis and short axis is 5/1.8, the pressure loss coefficient is only 28.1~35.5 of circular pin-fins channel (ratio of long axis and short axis is 3/3), and average Nusselt number is 71.1~75.06 of circular pin-fins channel.
