摘要

Using the finite element analysis program ABAQUS, internal forces in reinforced concrete (RC) beams with inconstant restraints during heating and cooling phases were investigated. First, the changing trends of axial and rotational restraint stiffnesses at beam ends were studied. Then, the variations of axial forces and bending moments in inconstant restrained beams during monotonic heating phase or heating and cooling phases time were analyzed and compared with those in constant restrained beams. Simulation results show that the maximum axial force ratio in an inconstant restrained beam at high temperature is less than that in a constant restrained beam, the less the initial value of axial restraint stiffness is, the larger their difference is;the maximum bending moment at beam end in an inconstant restrained beam at high temperature is almost equal to that in a constant restrained beam;and the variations of axial force ratio and bending moment at beam end in an inconstant restrained beam with heating and cooling time are almost the same as those in a constant restrained beam.
