Analysis and Countermeasures on Rural Environment Pollution in Chongqing

Rural development is of vital importance to the nation's economy and the people's livelihood. Taking Chongqing rural pollution problems as the research object, this paper analyzed its present situation and summed up its characters as huge pollutant emissions, increasing non-point source pollution, comprehensive point source pollution and city pollution shifting to the countryside. It elaborated the causes of ecological environment problems in Chongqing rural areas based on its status quo. Then put forward measures to solve the problem as strengthening the relevant regulations and policy guidance, ecological planning, establishing efficient agricultural system, increasing investment on rural environmental protection, preventing from rural non-point source pollution, setting up the long-effect mechanism for rural environment protection and improving the consciousness of environmental protection.
